My Grandmother's 47 antique Fashion cut out Paper Dolls from the late 1890s.
My grandmother was born in 1890 and she would cut the fashion drawings out of magazines to use as her paper dolls. All of these show the fashions of the time.
Most are in decent condition for their age although the paper is somewhat fragile. The colors are still sharp considering they were in an envelop in a drawer for many years. I found them when I helped clean out my grandmother's apartment after she died in 1969. I kept them in an envelop and recently found them again and decided that someone who was interested in period fashion might enjoy having them.
There are 31 women in their period dresses that are complete - some of them do have some tape on them.
There are 4 women in their period dresses that are missing hands.
There are 6 women who are missing all or part of their heads.
There is 1 cut out of a skirt only.
There are 4 men that are complete
There are 2 men who are missing their feet.
I haven't taken photos of them all but the photos I have included will show what they are all about and the description gives the details of each of the 47 fashion cut out.
